OLD HOLLYWOOD: AN EVENING WITH JACKIE GANIY - OCTOBER 14
Have you always been fascinated with the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood? Has the seemingly idyllic life of these movie stars intrigued you? Join the Tudor Rose on Saturday, October 14th from 6pm to 8pm for a night of glamour, glitz, mystery and scandal as we take you on a journey through the hallowed hallways and whispered secrets of old and new Tragic Hollywood, hosted by renown Hollywood historian, Jackie Ganiy.
We’ll begin with champagne cocktails and bites from the famous Chasen’s restaurant menu from 1956. (Chasen’s was an iconic establishment amongst the Hollywood elite. Everyone went there to see and be seen.) Appetizers will be followed by a light meal, also taken from the classic Chasen’s menu. To add to the experience, the evening will be filled with music from that period, as well as a slideshow of the famous stars of that bygone era.
Ms. Ganiy will give a talk about her books, followed up with Q&A, and then do a book signing. Bring your own copy or purchase one that evening.
Dress as your favorite classic or current Hollywood star, and be prepared to go back in time and immerse yourself in the world that will be revived for one night!
